Romiette and Julio by Sharon Draper

This book is almost like Romeo and Juliet, but instead of them being royalty they are both high school students. They both go to the same high school and they start to become friends, then lovers. Also, instead of their families not wanting them together, a group of guys don't like Julio trying to tear them apart. I love this book. I do recommend it to people who like Drama and Romance books.

The Mark of Athena ~ Rick Riordon

This is the third installment of "The Heroes of Olympus". This book has action, is war like, is funny-with a bit of comedic romance and references to many of my favorite shows like "Pokeman" and "Mythbusters." This is a great book that I recommend to anyone because it is fast paced and easy to read. To all that have read the previous books, add all that excitement and suspense and put it into a book spine and you get this!

Vampire Sheikh by Nina Bruhns

There are two main couples, or love interests in this book, and I only likes one of them. Seth and Josslyn are both idiots with very few redeeming qualities. I hate them both. Haru-Re, the other main "hero" is also an ass, but at least his evil villain dialogue is amusing. Nephtys stole my heart, and took no ones bullshit. Also the prose was terrible and I loved it.

The Man Who Was Thursday by G.K. Chesterton

A book about poets and infiltration and about chaos. It is simply about madness. The greatest message you can learn from this book is that, no matter how satisfying it may be, breaking your vow of secrecy is not worth what follows.

Wonderstruck by Brian Selznick

Brian Selznick has a unique way of telling intriquing stories. His most recent book, Wondorstruck, is a beutifull crafted mix of very similar stories. Ben is a young deaf boy that ran away from in search of the father he never knew. Rose is a young deaf girl searching for affection and attention from her very famous mother. Ben and Rose's adventures are bound to mix in this quick-paced page turner. This book is not action packed, unpredictable; the only reason this book stands apart is because half of the story is told in pictures. A worthwhile, quick and easy to read book.

The Secret History of the Mongol Queens: How the daughters of Genghis Khan rescused the empire by Jack Weatherford

Okay. So, this book spans the entire history of the Mongol culture, and it is really to epic and long to give a full review. I'll just say,"Genghis Khan was an incredibly brillient leader and his daughters were equally brillient." The Mongols did everything better than you. Mongol Queens did it best. Genghis Khan should have abandoned his sons in a ditch in the forest.
