This is a hilarious, fast paced read with great characters and surprising twists. Agnes is a food columnist who's gotten into some trouble with the law because of her tendency to hit men in the head with frying pans.

Shane is a cynical hitman with a past even he doesn't know the half of it. Shane has to protect Agnes from unsavory criminals, flamingos, and an irate mother-of-the-bride. There's many shenan iggis, awesomeness, and...

Slaughterhouse - Five of the Children's Crusade: Kuro Vonnegut, Jr.

The book is about the story of a man who has lost a grip on reality (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder-PTSD) after World War II. Rapidly jumping from moments in the war to present day, our main charecter has found unhappiness in life because he experienced so much horror as a child (age 18). The book does not glorify war so taht many young men won't be inspired to fight in the war and live a more fulfilling life.
