Brisingr - Christopher Paolini

Eragon and his Dragon Scphira continue to wage war against the tyrant Galbartorix with the support of the Vaiden and the Elves. They defeat the Razaac and smaller cities. Their master dies and they die alone.

It's about an author who is in an accident and is "taken care of" by a psychotic fan. she won't let him leave and no one knows where he's gone. While in captivity, he is forced to write a book for her.

It revolves around Will West, who has to live by rules made by his parents, which could save his life. One day, Will gets an invitation to go to a school with students who exceed others in academics and abilities. Accepting it, he is thrust into a world where everything seems crazy. I would recommend this book to anyone. It is amazing and is filled with action, adventure, epic battles, and even a little romance!

Speak by Laurie Anderson

A girl is raped and becomes depressed, but once she starts to get better she is attacked by a man again. I am unsure of what to think about the book. I thought it was odd and can't really say if it was a good or bad book.

Prized by Caragh M O'Brien

Prized is a very intriguing futuristic novel about a crumbling society. In this edition, the second book in the Birthmarked trilogy, Gaja has left the Enclave only to come up to a society just as messed up as the Enclave called the Sylum. She stays with them only because of her sister who is taken from her. I really enjoy reading about how she changed throughout the book, she is stronger than she was in Birthmarked but still hasn't figured out who she is.

Looking for Alaska by John Green

It is a novel about a guy who goes to Culver Creek boarding school and meets a ton of friends, one being Alaska Young. Alaska is a pretty, mischievous, moody, fun and self-destructive girl the protagonist meets. Then one day, everything changes and nothing is ever the same at Culver Creek. I really liked this book because of Alaska's personality, and the plot.
