Consciousness Explained by Daniel Dennett

The book is mainly about the author talking about all things that we so far know about the mind and how it works. He analyzed the history and theories of other scientists, but came to the conclusion that we are not yet at the level needed to even come close to explaining how consciousness work. It's a great book to read - abstract and thought-provoking.

Hawksong is about a hawk named Danica. She and her family have been fighting against the serpiente named Zane and his own family. Both royal families are done fighting as to many people have been lost to the war. So the only way for peace would be for Zane and Danica to get married and end the war between the two families.

This interesting story proves extremely hard to put down. Crank is a poetry book about a female who gets involved with a drug called crank.

I would definitely recommend this book. I love how this book gave a great perspective through the main character's eyes.
