The Secret Life of Bees
A Clockwork Orange by Anthony Burgess
Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher
Hannah Baker is dead. Before she killed herself, she made 13 tapes, each one telling a story that in some way, convinced her to kill herself. The story is told form the perspective of Clay Jensen, who is somewhere on the tapes. He has to be tortured through the tapes until he gets to his because he had feelings for Hannah and in the book he has to find out how he is connected to her death. This book was good, but i've read better. If you are considering whether or not to read this, please do because it is worth it.

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
Hunger Games is about Katniss, Prim's older sister and surviving through the hunger games. Thus far (because I have yet to finish it) I am at the part where Prim and Katniss volunteers into the fight, and the other tribute is Peeta. They have sorrowful goodbyes and then they are in the train and on their way to the capitol, in custody of the government and the pink haired lady!
