This book is a collection of short, spooky, witty stories.

It's a perfect time of year to read this, being Halloween time
or...
Read it any other time! It is a fun engaging, unexpectedly awesome book!

The Mark of Athena ~ Rick Riordon

This is the third installment of "The Heroes of Olympus". This book has action, is war like, is funny-with a bit of comedic romance and references to many of my favorite shows like "Pokeman" and "Mythbusters." This is a great book that I recommend to anyone because it is fast paced and easy to read. To all that have read the previous books, add all that excitement and suspense and put it into a book spine and you get this!

Gone Girl ~ Gillian Flynn

Nick is about to celebrate his 5th anniversary with Amy.  But he comes home from work to find the door wide open, the indoor cat outdoors, and the living room torn up-as if there was a struggle- and his wife gone.  What a wonderful, suspenseful novel that is really twisted!

A Farewell to Arms By: Ernest Hemingway

This book is about an American soldier in the Italian army named Henry. Henry falls in love with an English nurse named Catherine. The war tears them apart, but injuries bring them back together.  this is a great novel about love and war.

The perks of being a Wallflower By: Stephen Chbosky

Charlie is a very normal teenager, he doesn't participate in anything.  He is a wallflower.  The story is written in letters from Charlie to you, his friend.  As Charlie becomes more outgoing, you begin to understand him more.  While some of the book's content is mature, it is realistic and very well written.
