             This book is about Tia's family from the perspective of an older sister.  She makes it funny yet relatable.  It goes through drama and "accidents" and everything you can think of.

             This book is the first in the Promises to Keep series.  It follows the story of a small town, and focuses in on the young Amy.  Amy's life seems really content, but things take a turn for the worst.  Bad things keep happening and she struggles to keep herself together.

            A girl named Hannah Baker committed suicide.  a few weeks later a guy named Clay Jensen recieved a package with 7 tapes with numbers one though thirteen.  Each tape held a reason why she killed herself.

The story of a colored girl who lives in a poor family.  The father is abusive and many terrible things happen to her.  The perspective of a child is amazing.
