Speak by Laurie Anderson
A girl is raped and becomes depressed, but once she starts to get better she is attacked by a man again. I am unsure of what to think about the book. I thought it was odd and can't really say if it was a good or bad book.

Paper Towns by John Green
Prized by Caragh M O'Brien
Prized is a very intriguing futuristic novel about a crumbling society. In this edition, the second book in the Birthmarked trilogy, Gaja has left the Enclave only to come up to a society just as messed up as the Enclave called the Sylum. She stays with them only because of her sister who is taken from her. I really enjoy reading about how she changed throughout the book, she is stronger than she was in Birthmarked but still hasn't figured out who she is.

Looking for Alaska by John Green
It is a novel about a guy who goes to Culver Creek boarding school and meets a ton of friends, one being Alaska Young. Alaska is a pretty, mischievous, moody, fun and self-destructive girl the protagonist meets. Then one day, everything changes and nothing is ever the same at Culver Creek. I really liked this book because of Alaska's personality, and the plot.

Lovers Dictionary by David Levithan
A short book that is in the form of a type of dictionary. The story is told a little out of order and in segments. It is written by a guy who's girlfriend cheated on him, so he is recounting the events that went on in their relationship.

The Fault in our Stars
A good book that I absolutely love "The Fault in our Stars". It's the best book I've ever read. The book is about a girl with cancer and she meets a boy who is bursting with personality. They fall in love and the whole story is beautiful and very well written. I could not put this book down. Read it!

Bitterblue
A book I am currently reading is called Bitterblue, the third book in the Graceling series. it revolves around Queen Bitterblue, daughter of the sadistic former King Leck. This man had a power to control people's thoughts and used that to torture them. Bitterblue's advisers lived during Leck's reign and are hiding something. Bitterblue must find out, with the help of two thieves, Teddy and Saf.
