Creepy Susie and 13 other tragic tales for troubled children By Angus Oblong

This book is a lot of random stories.  They're odd stories and they aren't for everyone.  But I liked them.

Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

This book! I say is a strongly emotional with great suspense surrounding the life of a girl named Hannah Baker and her suicide. She sends tapes to certain people talking about the 13 reasons why she killed herself. One pf the people who gets her tape is her long term crush Clay Jensen and he has to find out why he got that tape! It is a great book with great dept and an amazing but tragic story. Love it.

This book is about Elizabeth Valchar a popular, snoopy, stuck-up brat. She died on her family boat. She finds things out that she couldn't remember, and it gets hard. She meets up with this Alex a boy who wasn't in her 'social status'. This is story is most is likely a psycho thriller mixed with a bitter romance.

Johnny got his gun

Reading this book is very awesome. It awakens deep pathos in readers with a realistic take on war, and the affects of war on the mind, body, and life of someone.

Life As We Knew It by Susan Beth Pfeffer

Miranda is a girl on earth who is facing the catastrophic effects of a meteor hitting the moon.  Everyone around her seems to be dying as her and her mom struggle to provide for their family in hope that somehow things will get better on their once thriving planet.  Food and other objects that were once taken for granted by many people are now worth killing for, and those who don't die from starvation and the extreme weather conditions die from diseases and sicknesses.  This book has both action and romance, and I would definitely recommend it as one of the best books I have ever encountered.

The Giver by Lois Lowry

This book was interesting in many different ways.  The things they consider normal are weird for us.  The number one thing I liked about this book was how the main character was the Receiver and supposed to become the Giver.  The thing I didn't like about this was it is a cliff hanger.  I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

The Future of Us by Jay Asher & Carolyn Mackler

This book was a creative take on seeing the future.  It is set in 1996 when two kids, Emma Nelson and Jason Templeton, find something that changes their lives... But they try to take control of this change and it spins out of their favor.  There is a cool story line, great ending, and interesting characters, creating this overall great book.

Switched by Amanda Hocking

Lately, I've been reading the Trylle novels.  This trilogy is about a girl who finds out she has the power of persuasion and plenty more powers.  Finn Holmes has come to bring Wendy home.  Wendy is a Princess Trylle who is being called home by her mother, the queen.  Wendy goes through a bunch of struggles.

Gossip Girl: all I want is everything by Cecily von Ziegesar

It was about the main people of the upper east side, Blair, Nate, Chuck, Serena, Dan and Jenny, and their hectic, stressful yet relaxing vacations in the Caribbean for Christmas.  The time spent in the Caribbean is as drama-filled as times at home.  Breakups, heartbreaks, cat-fights and stalkers follow these young New Yorkers, but will vacation be as restful and fun as planned?

The Girl who Circumnavigated Fairyland in a ship of her own making By: Catherynne Valente

September lives a normal life, cleaning the same teacups every day.  But when The Green Wind offers to take her to fairyland, she accepts.  Fairyland is filled with friends, such as a wyverary, a cross between a wyvern and a library.  Fairlyland is also full of dangers, such as a wicked queen who calls herself The Marquess, and velocopiedes.  This book great with many twists and turns, and an amazing plot line.

Soulless By: Gail Carriger

This book is about a woman who is barely accepted by society, due to her heritage, and is practically emotionless due to her lack of soul.  It takes place in England, but vampires and werewolves have been integrated into society, but the book will end up taking you to Paris and Italy.  It has good humor and action, and is overall great!
